Kayaking, Canoeing & SUP
There's no better way to enjoy the coastal life of Panama City Beach than from beyond the shore. From kayaking and canoeing to stand-up paddleboarding, join in on one or all of these family-friendly water activities, and reconnect with your sense of adventure in the PCB.
Go on a Kayaking or Canoeing Adventure
Grab your watercraft of choice, a kayak or canoe, and paddle to Shell Island or around the Grand Lagoon for some of the best on-the-water sights in town.
St. Andrews State Park offers kayak and paddleboard rentals on a seasonal basis, and so does Camp Helen State Park. One of the many local outfitters, Coldwater Excursions, rents out paddleboards and kayaks and provides paddle tours of nearby creeks and streams.
Stand Up & Explore
Stand-up paddleboarding is another way to explore the clear waters of Panama City Beach.
Mr. Surf's Surf Shop has been a local institution since 1980. In addition to a daily surf report, the shop offers paddleboard and skim and surfboard rentals. Add on to your SUP experience with Paradise Adventures by signing up for the adventure tour, which includes a catamaran ride, inflatable water slides, and trampolines, as well as kayak and paddleboard rentals.
Find Your Inner Zen on Water
Another way to enjoy the calming waters of PCB and reconnect with nature and your inner peace is through stand-up paddleboard yoga.
Schedule a paddleboard yoga sesh with instructor Heather Wiles, who runs Namaste, A Mermaids Oasis, and hosts classes on the water, as well as on the white-sandy beaches of Panama City Beach. Yoga Elements also offers standup paddleboard yoga classes, retreats, and rentals.
Hours and days of operation vary and it is recommended to book a class or rental ahead of time for whatever outfitter you use.
Whether you're looking to get out on the water with a canoe, paddleboard, or kayak, there's an adventure waiting for you and your loved ones in Panama City Beach.
