CAPT. JUSTIN LEAKE

Capt. Justin Leake grew up fishing the waters surrounding Panama City Beach. As owner of Panama City Inshore guide service, he spends upwards of 300 days on the water each year sharing his local knowledge with visiting anglers. Justin has competed in many high-profile tournaments throughout the Gulf Coast region and won several titles. He has also fished in Belize, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and Alaska. In addition to hosting Chasin’ The Sun since its 2016 debut, Justin has appeared on numerous local and regional outdoor shows. He is an active member of the Panhandle Guides Association and, when not enjoying our diverse fisheries, can be found pursuing his other passion in a duck blind or deer stand.

Meredith McCord

Meredith McCord grew up on Texas and Canada lakes and held a fishing rod before she could walk. She turned that lifelong passion into a business and now travels the world hosting fly fishing trips for anglers of all ages and skill levels. Meredith has established more than 220 IGFA world records in a variety of species and line class categories and been named IGFA’s Top Female Angler four times. Her mission is to inspire, educate and empower others to be the best angler that they can be while having fun, making friends and catching fish in beautiful places. When not on the water, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, bird hunting or cooking at home.

In Memoriam

CAPT. TRAVIS HOLEMAN

Capt. Travis Holeman co-hosted Chasin’ The Sun from 2018-21 and brought a wealth of angling experience and a ton of fun to the show. Sadly, we lost him to COVID-19 but his memory lives on through the many lives he touched.
