The 4th Annual JLPC 5K Rabbit Race & ½-mile Bunny Hop will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013.  We are keeping the tradition of hosting the race the Saturday before Easter. Registration will be from 7:00a.m. to 8:45a.m. with the 5K starting at 9:00a.m., Bunny Hop at 10:00a.m. and awards at 11:00a.m.

We are applying to hold the race at the Panama City Marina once again. The new route will go East on Beach Drive, through the Cove, up around the Courthouse, down past McKenzie Park and back to the Marina. We are awaiting the Panama City Commission’s approval of the course and should have an update on the route soon. The back-up will be to start at the Courthouse and run through the Cove.

The 5K race will be $20 until March 15th, after that the price will increase to $25. The Bunny Hop is $10 until March 15th and $15 after. We will have packet pick-up on Friday, March 29th at the Junior League Office from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. and 4:00p.m.-6:00p.m. We will also offer late registration at that time and on race day but we want to encourage everyone to register early!

All children under 12 will receive a finisher’s medal. Bunny Hop children will also receive a special prize at the end of the race. T-shirts will be provided to the first 300 registrants. There will also be prizes for various age groups and overall awards.
